East Grinstead’s first ever Junior Colour run organised and hosted by Halsford Park PTA was held on Sunday 1st October and some of our Imberhorne students volunteered to help at the exciting charity event.
Our annual Open Evening was held on Thursday 28th September with Open Mornings taking place between 2nd and 6th October. The open evening this year was attended by more families than ever before and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
Congratulations to Imberhorne's Year 9 KS3 and Year 10&11 KS4 Rugby teams for their memorial match wins against Sackville School on 19th September. Imberhorne lifted both the Cooney Cup and the Newnham Shield in two thrilling games!
Performance poet Ash Dickinson visited Imberhorne Upper School on 18th September to hold a poetry workshop exclusively for Sixth Form students. Wandering wordsmith Ash makes yearly visits to the Lower School for Year 8 workshops.
Sachin Bhangra in Year 13 recently entered an essay competition for prospective students of the University of Cambridge. We were thrilled to hear that his essay was 'Highly Commended' and that he had been invited to receive a prize on Saturday 16th September at the University in the Robinson Coll
Imberhorne are delighted with our outstanding GCSE results again this year and we are pleased that so many of our students have the grades required to make the next step in their educational journey.
Our Sixth Form students celebrated on 17th August as they received their A level results. Imberhorne has attained an impressive 99% pass rate with 52% of all entries at grade A*-B, or equivalent, the students thoroughly deserve our congratulations for the hard work and commitment they have shown
What better way to kick off proceedings at Imberhorne’s I-Fest than with a stunning performance from our Voice in a Million Choir, who were picked to perform on stage at Wembley Arena earlier this year.
