Our Year 13’s are receiving their university offers thick and fast at the moment. We are delighted to report that four Imberhorne students have had offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge!
Imberhorne School played host to some world class guest speakers who delivered daily masterclasses during Global Enterprise Week (13th - 17th November 2017).
Members of our Student Council met on 6th December as part of their ongoing work for our 'Student Voice' programme. We are extremely impressed with the work that Year 9 leading students in particular are carrying out by visiting form groups to gather opinion and ideas.
Amongst many other festive engagements, our wonderful choir performed at Gatwick Airport North on Friday 8th December singing carols in front of the beautiful Christmas tree to raise money for St Cathrine’s Hospice.
Our 2017 Tanzania exchange began on the mini buses to Gatwick on Thursday 12th October where students boarded the plane to Dubai and then transferred on to Dar Es Salaam.
Our amazing Year 12 Youth Speaks team, coached by High Achieving Coordinator and English teacher Miss J Hughes, took first place at the 2017 Rotary Club, Area Youth Speaks competition on 7th November at Chequer Mead.
Year 5 students from Halsford Park School visited us at Imberhorne on 16th November. We enjoy inviting our local primary schools along at every opportunity and believe it creates a positive experience for both our Imberhorne students and the younger students as well.
During the October half term break we submitted our Imberhoney to the world-renowned British National Honey Show and are absolutely thrilled to have won a prestigious award!
