The yr 7 boys won their first round county cup match 3-1 away to Oathall. The team was the same as the last one except for Sam Jackson standing in for M. Card in goal. After going one-nil down in the first five minutes, Imberhorne gained control of the match with some good passing play. Shortly after going one-nil down, L. Pearce scored a 25-yard shot which lobbed the goalkeeper. Just before the half time break O. Weddell chased down a long ball, outmuscled an Oathall defender and slotted home past the goalkeeper. This was after already hitting the bar. At half time the team was told to spread the play wider and cross into the box more. This tactic worked but chances were missed time after time. It wasn't until the goalkeeper dropped a catch did Imberhorne rap-up the win with Oscar Weddell again being a handful and chasing down the ball to score into an unguarded net.
