The annual Key Stage 3 Musician of the Year Competition, held at Windmill Lane on 31st May, was a huge success. Before the competition itself the music department had the daunting task of cutting 80 auditionees to 20 finalists.The performances on the night were all flawless. The 'Vocal' category was strong and the 'Musicians' category wowed the audience with exquisite performances including “My Heart Will Go On” and “Fur Elise”.  Many thanks go to the year 7, 8 & 9 band and choirs who also entertained the audience.  Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all those who took part and worked behind the scenes to make it such a wonderful evening.
