Over fifty Year 10 students ran a Charity Quiz in aid of the amazing work performed by The Greenaway Foundation on Thursday 30th March - and it was fantastic! Sixteen teams came along to see if they were smarter than a 15-year-old. It turns out that none of them were! In the last 2 rounds our student group pipped all the others to the post and took first place. The night was about so much more than the quiz however. Aside from the fund raising, it was an opportunity for our students to develop their event management, confidence and teamwork skills.

From the outstanding pop-up food operation, the welcome party, service team, quiz hosts, tech team and floor staff - they all delivered a slick and professional event. The delicious food from our student Masterchef winners added an extra special touch. What a year group of brilliant young people!

Staff were so happy that Imberhorne had yet another opportunity to showcase our school and students to the business and wider school community. Almost 100 guests attended, including a table of our friends from the East Grinstead Business Association. A huge thank you goes to the EGBA for sponsoring the event too.

We would also like to thank The Star Lingfield,  Sainsbury's & Waitrose EG and Stones Family Butchers for their sponsorship of the event. They all contributied their support to enable us to put this fundraiser in the calendar. Our final list of gratitude goes to Bluebell Railway, Kingscote Estate and Kings18 Indoor Golf for their support in donating prizes for the silent auction. What an amazing community we have in East Grinstead.
