The Geography department have completed three days of Year 9 trips to the London Docklands area across 7/8/11th October. Year 9s are studying urban regeneration for the Autumn Term and the extent to which development in urban areas is socially, economically and environmentally sustainable. The trip involved travelling on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), visiting Canary Wharf, the Excel centre and the Thames Barrier. Thanks to the department for making this happen for over 250 students and to our students who were a pleasure to take beyond the classroom.
