Youth Speaks
On Wednesday 17th November, three Imberhorne Sixth Form students took part in the annual Rotary Youth Speaks competition at Chequer Mead.Robyn Dessoy introduced the subject of ‘Youth Speaks’ which was skilfully presented by Megan Birch. Megan used the title of the competition to discuss how young people are changing the language of today. Sarah Killick-Bird was the third participant and her role was to propose the vote of thanks. The girls’ performance was excellent and we were not surprised that the judges voted unanimously for our team. Well done girls!Seven teams took part in total from other local schools; Sackville, Notre Dame and Worth. The team will now take part in the South-East regional final at Chichester High School on 15th February 2011. We wish them the very best of luck!
