On Tuesday May 7th, 220 Year 11 students and their parents attended the wonderful ‘Graduation Ceremony’ at the Copthorne Effingham Hotel. The packed Millennium suite resounded with cheers as certificates were awarded by Councillor Bennett to 68 graduates, 61 graduates with Merit and a record 91 students with Distinction. In addition, ex Chair of Governors, Ann Bolt chose the best Record of Achievements with prizes awarded to Claire-Louise Thomson, Ben Ferris, Elena Levings and Ed Stowell. The well deserved top prize of the Ann Bolt Shield for best overall Record of Achievement went to a surprised and delighted Cameron Jones for the voluntary work he completes with his Scout Group and Sailing Club, in addition to being  extremely helpful and committed to school life.
