U15 Boys Win Place in District Cup Finals!
After a boost from the convincing win over Sackville a few weeks ago, Imberhorne's Year 10 Football team got back to cup duty with a much anticipated district semi final versus Oakmeeds. Imberhorne set off like a steam train and quickly led by 2-0 thanks to Sam Bull. After a brief spell, Oakmeeds pulled one back before Bull forced an own goal and then scored again to complete his 13th hat-trick for the school. At half-time the score was 4-1.
After a switch of formation and personnel, Imberhorne soon scored a 5th goal which came from Sam Remfry. Oakmeeds threatened a comeback as they scored their second goal and were then awarded a penalty, reliably saved by our keeper Henry Lester. Imberhorne broke quickly from a free kick and Remfry picked up his second goal from what was a superb team effort. Full time showed a 6-2 scoreline and Imberhorne U15's reach their 3rd final….....3rd time lucky?
