The Sixth Form football team completed a terrible week with a third home loss of fixtures. Losing 8-1 in the first league match of the season to an average Oriel side boosting an ex-pupil of ours and quite a few of our players injured or unavailable. The team didn’t perform on a terrible home pitch which has been overplayed on or too soaked. However, the away team managed to play better than us with better passing moves, ball possession and most importantly better finishing – Imberhorne’s main problem so far this season. Our goal was shot by J. Cobb but deflected into the net for an own goal. We hope for a better performance next week away in the County Cup third round.The team: C. Richards, J. Foxley Sanders, S.
