On Wednesday 25th March, Imberhorne Music department hosted their annual KS4 Musician of the Year competitions with categories both in singing and instrumental performances. Students from years 10 and 11 impressed the audience with some incredible performances and a wide variety of musical talent. The two year 10 music classes opened both acts with their class performances and in the second half we had some lovely ensemble performances while the judges decided on the winners for each category. Not an easy decision! The winners of each category were: Instrumental category - 1st place - Annabell Hutchings - 2nd place – William Hallam - 3rd place – Adam BosherVocal category - 1st place - Esme Vincent  - 2nd place – Chelsea Lightburn - Sealy - 3rd place – Georgia Basagni The talent on show was, as always, impressive and provided a thoroughly entertaining event. A wonderful evening was had by all and we look forward to the talent that we will see from KS3 at their competition in June. Miss Barwell would like to say well done to everyone took part in the concert. A mention should also go to our wonderful Music Leaders who organised the evening so successfully, it really was a most enjoyable evening.
