Former Imberhorne pupil, Susan Alley, now 40, has had her first book, Ghost Club: The Unloved, published and it's now on sale.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />Susan, who writes under her maiden name, has a Masters Degree in Writing for Children but considers this to be a crossover book.  “My aim has been to keep it as readable for adults as for teenagers,” she says.The story revolves around sixteen-year-old Derek who wants nothing more than a fresh start with his troubled parents in their new home.  Instead, he gets some problematic young ghost hunters and a spirit seeking violent revenge for a hidden past.  Susan is already thinking about book two.
