To cement the knowledge of the First World War texts that the Year 12 Literature students have been studying, the English Department ran a 2 hour workshop on 16th March.  The aim was to immerse the students in practical war time experiences.  They enjoyed cooking WW1 recipes, designing puppets, applying first aid to wounded soldiers, reading poetry and even sang WW1 songs.
