Congratulations to four Year 12 students who participated in the Debating Matters Competition on Monday Night. R. Dessoy and L. Muschamp successfully battled their way through the first round, arguing that physician-assisted suicide should be legalised. They beat the team from Sackville School to give M. Birch and G. Young a place in the final against Burgess School for Girls. They fought hard to put their case forward that competitive boxing is not suitable for young people, but were unfortunately beaten in a very close debate.
