Key Stage 4 Musician of the Year - 13th February 2013
The Imberhorne Music department hosted their annual KS4 Musician of the Year competition on 13th February, at the Jubilee Centre, East Grinstead. Students from Years 10 and 11 competed, playing a variety of genres, from pop, to blues, to classical music. The talent on show was testament to the hard work and dedication of the students in the department, and in no small part down to the continued support of the parents. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />The competition winners were: Instrumentalists: Dan Crofts (1st – Bass), Lois Plummer (2nd – Clarinet) and Niamh Herrett – (3rd – Piano) Vocalists: Sarah Birch (1st), Catherine Carlile (2nd) and Amber Newton (3rd)There were many other entertaining acts that performed at the event, including the Year 11 ensemble performance of ‘Dog Days are Over’ and the Year 10 band 'The Imbersils' played ‘I bet that you look good on the dance floor’.
